Are you considering taking your family to Disney World? A couple’s getaway to Disneyland? A multi-generational Disney Cruise? How about a guided tour with your kids to Egypt or a European River Cruise?
Planning Disney vacations is certainly not what it once was. It’s really not what it was pre 2020. So much has changed!
With many families working to save up for a special family trip, I know how important it is to have the best possible vacation. There can be some anxiety involved when spending a large amount of money on a vacation.
Let’s be real, Disney isn’t cheap, but it can be done on a budget!
It shouldn’t be stressful though. You should be able to enjoy your vacation! I’m here to help make sure that happens.
Wondering if it’s worth it to you use a travel agent?
Here are the primary reasons to book your next Disney vacation through a travel agent specializing in Disney.
It’s Free
Booking your vacation through a travel agent, such as me (Isabelle at Love the Mouse Travel) costs you nothing extra.
Really?
Yes, you pay the same as if you booked directly through Disney. Yet, you receive the added bonus of my expertise and responsiveness. I always am aware of promotions right away, and add them to my client’s vacation packages whenever possible.
My services are completely free, no hidden catch!
My Expertise and Experience
When you book your vacation with me you have the help of a travel agent that is knowledgeable and experienced in Disney Destinations.
You have access to my best tips, recommendations, and answers to all of your questions.
I have spent thousands of hours in Disney parks. I grew up going to Disneyland. As an adult I worked at Disney World, first through the Disney College Program (twice), then I continued working in entertainment after my college program.
I never planned to take such a detour through college, but I’m glad I did!
Now that I’m a mom I’ve experienced taking babies, toddlers, and school-aged children to Disney. I can tailor your trip to the needs and preferences of your family.
To Make Sure You Don’t Miss Something Important
Every day I see posts of desperation from vacationers who have booked their Disney Resort, purchased plane tickets and park tickets, and are in Orlando. One HUGE thing they’ve forgotten?
Park reservations!
Since the reopening of Disney parks after the 2020 closure, you must make a park pass reservation in addition to having tickets. This system seems to be here to stay!
How awful would it be to splurge on a family vacation, have excited children and then not actually be able to set foot in Magic Kingdom because you didn’t secure reservations before the parks “sold out” for the day or the week?
I make sure my clients have everything important arranged. I remind all them ahead of each planning step.
Answers to Your Disney Vacation Questions
From which resort is right for my family to when is the best time of year to travel?
Do you have questions?
I have the answers to your questions.
From dining to accessibility and special needs I will walk you through every step of the planning process.
For example, one of my recent clients sent me a message on her trip that her daughter is napping in the stroller, “do you have any suggestions of where we could go for some air conditioning or a drink while she naps”
“Where can I quickly order the best coffee?”
I was thrilled to offer last minute suggestions such as these. And, as my client I’ll be happy to do the same for you!
To Wait on Hold for You
This is pretty straight forward. Your time is valuable.
I am the one to call Disney when changes you want to make can’t be made online. Or, if a special promotion becomes available and the website crashes. I’m here to handle things for you!
dining help
If you’re like me, the food matters! I put great thought into planning out which restaurants my family will enjoy on our trips.
If you haven’t been to Disney in a while, you may not know you really need to make reservations. Dining reservations are available 60-days before your Disney Resort check in.
I have SO many tips and strategies for making sure you have the best chance at even those hard-to-get reservations such as Topolino’s Terrace character breakfast and Space 220.
My clients also receive my extensive list of recommended restaurants. I have tried SO many Disney dining locations. Having spent time as a Disney World cast member and as a frequent visitor, I have experienced so many Disney restaurants and I certainly have opinions!
Whether you are traveling to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, or setting sail on Disney Cruise Line I have dining suggestions and must-try snack recommendations for you!
Do you have dietary preferences or food allergies? No problem, I have done all of the research for you.
Save Time
During the planning process I will send you summaries of your choices, video links to Disney Resort room tours, and more!
I streamline everything for you to save you time. Not sure what room type will work for your family? You don’t have to research it, because I already have!
Not every traveler wants to do hours and hours of research. So leave that to me, and I’ll share all the most important parts with you!
The time savings can continue into your trip with my tips for getting around the parks.
Disney Makes Changes All the Time
Oh gosh, where to start on the changes?!
Genie +.
I will explain why you should use it, especially if you don’t enjoy waiting in lines. I’ve used it myself, I’ve saved hours and hours using it.
I keep up-to-date on all of the changes via direct communication from Disney. I also of course listen to Disney podcasts all-the-time.
It’s probably why my kids are currently pretending to camp in the living room. Then one said “I don’t want to camp, I’m staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge” and the other said “I’ll stay there with you, but first I’m going to the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser.”
The other day I caught them playing under the dining room table. They were calling it their Polynesian Bungalow.
What can I say, they have good taste?
There’s a reason I was able to get a Storybook Dining at Artist Point reservation the day they returned. It’s because I stay obsessively in tune to all of the changes. I share all of that information with my clients. If you are considering character dining, you’ll want to read my review of Storybook Dining at Artist Point.
I understand that not every vacationer wants to spend hours and hours doing research. So, let me do it for you!
So, is it worth it to use a travel agent specializing in Disney for your next vacation?
YES!
Using a travel agent doesn’t mean that every second of your day will be scheduled and planned, it does mean you will have an idea of what things are best to do when.
